CHURCH RENOVATION AND CONSTRUCTION

The church in Katwe parish Queen Elizabeth National Park serves around 300 Men and women yet it`s original capacity was for around 50-70 People. It`s too old and it was built in the early 1800`s. Most of people stay outside when the Priest is preaching and others go away without being served which discourages them from coming next time.

The Church Lacks a Sunday school to act as the nursery bed for the future generation.

We were approached by the Vicar and the Communities of Queen Elizabeth National Park asking us to be the Voice that can shout out loud to the world asking for the help. The church which works as their salvation place, community center and a place of unity is collapsing.  People are scared of going to listen to the word of God knowing that this old church might fall on them. Also the outbreak of Covid-19 in the world led to the condition going from bad to worse, only few people were allowed to enter which made the service difficult for the people.

We call upon all kind hearted Christians and well-wishers to help the Renovation and Construction of a bigger church for Katwe Village and other surrounding communities of Queen Elizabeth National Park to bring back the people into the path of God and also to encourage Community Sensitization.

For I am with you,’ declares the LORD Almighty.
